Nike continues their celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Air Force 1 with a collection of sneakers commemorating Charles Barkley. We have already showed you a few out of the collection, here now some more. Force revolutionized the game of basketball in the 1980s. With a unique style of play and merciless determination, one player broke all the rules and redefined the game’s attitude. He was the physical embodiment of Force. Charles Barkley’s strength, size and tenacity made him not only a great rebounder but one of the most versatile player in the League. Known for his controversial, irreverent and unpredictable basketball skills, the ‘Round Mound of Rebound’ quickly left his footprint as the most dominant Power Forward in the history of the NBA . Barkley was the anti-hero who brought attitude to the game. Athlete turned superstar, he played without mercy, fighting for every ball and wearing his attitude on his sleeve. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of an iconic shoe, A F1 recognizes the role of a basketball icon that became the most influential face of Force. Following his debut in Alabama, through his professional career and his Olympic successes, the Barkley series of Air Force 1s tell the story of the evolution of Force in its truest essence. This set consists of two AF1's - one Air Force 1 Supreme and one Air Force 1 Supreme Max. They come in premium leathers and with a bit a different design, while still staying subtle overall. These will be releasing October 1st.
