50 Cent Runs New York: Curtis to Tour Five Boroughs

In order to promote his new album, Curtis, 50 Cent will perform five separate live shows in New York City the week of his album release. While details are still sketchy, 50 will reportedly be performing in one location in each of the city’s boroughs during the weekend of September 15. Fans in the New York area that are interested in attending the 50 Cent 5 Borough Tour can listen to radio station Hot 97, where tickets will be given away throughout Labor Day Weekend.

The great thing about last nights game is that Kool-aid Led all tacklers with 10 tkl's. This is his first year at Buffalo, he will continue to have many more great games.

In last nights game againt Big East powerhouse #16th ranked Rutgers Scarlett Knights the Buffalo Bulls were smacked 38 - 3. The Scarlet Knights threw a balanced offense at the Bulls as Heisman Trophy candidate Ray Rice rushed for 184 yards and quarterback Mike Teel threw for a career-best 328 yards to lead Rutgers.

Talib Kweli would have had the No. 1 album in the country this week if not for the commercial juggernaut that is High School Musical 2. Kweli rang up a respectable 60,000 units of his new album Ear Drum and will take No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200. Unfortunately, the HSM2 soundtrack managed to add another 367 thousand in its second week in stores and will once again reign over Billboard for at least another week. But Kweli does walk away with bragging rights over producer Swizz Beatz, who scanned only 45,000 copies of his solo LP, One Man Band Man, landing inside the Top 10 at No. 7. Elsewhere on the charts this week, UGK’s album Underground Kingz moves down four slots to No. 10. The duo added another 35,000 units, totaling just under 256,00 copies sold in less than a month. Common’s Finding Forever also slides a few spots this week, moving from No. 10 down to No. 15 with another 30,000 discs sold.

Lil' Weezy $1 Million Lawsuit, Teen Trampled At Morgan State University Concert Files Suit

Lil’ Wayne has been sued for $1 million by a teenager who claims she was trampled when the New Orleans-bred rapper tossed fistfuls of cash into the crowd during the Morgan State University Homecoming Celebration last October. Tyrique Layne, of Fort Washington, Maryland, filed the suit in Baltimore City Circuit Court on Monday afternoon. Tyrique claims she lost consciousness and sustained serious and extensive injuries after Weezy and his entourage tossed a large sum of money into the audience, causing the crowd to surge toward the stage. A “serious closed head injury” has now results in memory loss, difficulty concentrating, and severe headaches.

Illseed reports the update on the “I Get Money” remix. How does Jay-Z, Diddy, Kanye and Luda, Eminem and Dr. Dre sound to you? So Yesterday I didnt get a chance to blog much because i was doing the day to day shit I deal with pkus some extra school stuff, and I was in the City with KP and Punch doin the Exec shit. So we go up to the Warner Music Group Building where we see Gorilla Zoe and Harve Pierre from BadBoy and shit, but anyway we in the building and we pic up some screamfest tix and some autograph pics and CD's from T.I. for our homey T. and then we proceed to go to an artist showcase @ a Lounge called Snitch. We in the lounge chillin nothing really going on next thing you know we are getting text messages about the Screamfest concert where apparently Young Joc pulls T on stage, TI brings out Jay-Z and Kanye comes out (pause) DIddy and 50 cent. They stole the show at ScreamFest Jay-Z, 50, Kanye, and Diddy o yea and Swizz Beats. The word is that 50 was on his usual shit flaunting money and he threw up the ROC sign.....and Jay was saying their all friends... But reports will soon be out about the concert. Jay-Z On Remix To Saigon's "Come On Baby"

Saigon recently spoke to MTV News about his up-coming album "The Greatest Story Never Told" and his new single "Come On Baby".

"Yeah, Jay's on my album. He's on the remix to the single, he aired it out. I still gotta go back and rewrite my verse," said Saigon. "He really does the 'Rain Man' thing, he doesn't sit down and write," he continued. "For mad years, I was like, 'He's too clever, I don't believe he don't write [lyrics] down. He's too on point.' But with this beat, when he came to record to it, he never heard the beat before and his rhyme went so perfect with the beat. I was like he couldn't have wrote this at home, he couldn't have had this in the stash. Maybe this dude do got more brain cells than everybody else. I tell him all the time, 'You an alien, man.' "

Saigon also said there would be a video coming soon for "Come On Baby" and he hopes to do a Rock influenced treatment for the song due to its heavier sound.

"Being that it's rock-influenced, I wanna get a rock band. Remember [Run-DMC's] 'Walk This Way'? I wanted to do it just like that," he explained of a treatment he has in his head. "Me and Just [Blaze] in one side of the studio, doing some rap stuff, they doing their rock stuff [on another side], then we banging on the wall. We wanna use 'Walk This Way' as sort of like a blueprint. The record is real rock-influenced, let's incorporate that into the video, instead of us just being in the club. "
